Johnson&Johnson to consider transferring COVID-19 vaccine production technology to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - A representative of Johnson & Johnson said on Friday that the company will study the possibility of transferring vaccine production technology to Vietnam.

During Friday’s online meeting with Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long, the company’s representative said Johnson & Johnson has committed to supply 200 million doses from now until the end of this year to the COVAX Facility, a global risk-sharing mechanism for pooled procurement and equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
The company said that after working with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, it will make every effort to accelerate the supply of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine through the COVAX mechanism, so that Vietnam can receive Johnson & Johnson vaccine as soon as possible. The representative added the company has planned to register the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in Vietnam.
