(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Journalists’ Association and the Nhan Dan (People’s Daily) newspaper hosted a program called “Meeting in October” in Hanoi on Sunday.

The program selected 31 prominent businesses and 6 business people of 2016.

Ho Quang Loi, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, said journalists and business people work together to serve the nation and people.

He said: “This is a good opportunity for journalists and business people to meet and forge closer ties for national development. The collectives and individuals who are honored today stand out among millions of businesses all over Vietnam.”

Organizers also called on business people to give a helping hand to flood victims in central Vietnam.
