(VOVworld) – US Secretary of State John Kerry has urged Syria's warring parties to observe a US-Russia brokered ceasefire and warned that it could be the last chance to save Syria.

Mr. Kerry told reporters in Washington on Monday that although there remain doubts and there would be challenges in the days to come, the plan has a chance to work.  

Mr. Kerry said the US and Russia can agree on continued bombing missions by the Syrian government against al-Qaida-linked militants in opposition areas, considering it part of the ceasefire.
