(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung worked with officials of Kon Tum province on Wednesday in Hanoi on completing the province’s socio-economic tasks.

The Prime Minister asked the provincial authority to fully exploit the province’s potentials and strive to fulfil set socio-economic tasks. He also asked the province to pay attention to reduce poverty in a sustainable manner, coordinate social security policies, and improve the lives of the local people, especially in the province’s disadvantaged areas. Mr. Dung said plans should be examined and fine-tuned to develop industry, agriculture, and forestry to mobilize resources for cash crops, making the processing industry the province’s spearhead sector.
