The festival will demonstrate cultural spaces and handicrafts of ethnic groups such as the Thai, Mong, and Lu. There will be a fair displaying Lai Chau’s specialties and goods from the local One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme.

Tran Manh Hung, Deputy Director of Lai Chau provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “Lai Chau province organizes a Culture and Tourism week in Hanoi to promote local tourism attractions and cultures and traditions of ethnic groups to Hanoians and tourists. We’ll develop community tourism and eco-tourism to tap our advantages. We also want to market our OCOP products which have been certified as high quality products.”
