(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has asked authorities in Lang Son province to make an overall review of its socio-economic development strategy to successfully implement the targets set out by the provincial Party congress.

At a working session on Monday, Madam Ngan noted that provincial leaders should attach great importance to improving the investment environment and allocating resources for infrastructure development.

She said Lang Son should pay more attention to upgrading the local transportation system and highways to fully tap the potential of its border economy while combining new rural development with agricultural restructuring.

On the same day Madam Ngan also visited and worked with Cao Loc district.
