Lao media reports on Vietnam’s National Party Congress
(VOVWORLD) -The Pasaxon newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party on Wednesday front-paged an article entitled "The 13th Party Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is solemnly inaugurated."

The article said the Congress’s theme are Party building and rectification, aspirations for national development, promoting national solidarity, strengthening reform, and maintaining peace for national construction and defense, Vietnam will strive become a developed country with socialist orientation until the middle of the 21st century.

The Pathet Lao newspaper of the Lao News Agency (KPL) on Tuesday front-paged an article, congratulating 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The article said that as Laos and Vietnam have a long-standing cooperative relationship, the Party, State and people of Laos will continue to work together with the Party, State and people of Vietnam to protect, preserve and promote the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, making it a precious heritage of the two countries, a rule in the development of the two peoples, and one of the decisive factors for the success of each country’s revolution.

The Vientiane Times on Tuesday and Wednesday published on the front page news stories on the delegations attending the Congress, published a letter of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee sent to the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, praising the resounding, comprehensive, and historic victories of the Vietnamese people through the resistance wars for national liberation and construction.
The National Radio and National Television of Laos gave wide coverage on the opening ceremony of the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
