Deputy Nguyen Duy Minh, representing Da Nang city, addressed the National Assembly plenary meeting on Monday, saying, “To contribute to the successful implementation of the 2025 socio-economic development plan, I propose that the Government review and promulgate mechanisms and policies to boost innovation, prioritize policies, and create an environment for start-up business development."
"The Government directs relevant agencies to urgently revise such laws as Enterprise Law, Investment Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Science and Technology Law to attract resources, develop innovation, and make the economy more competitive,” Minh added.

At the meeting, the Minister of Education and Training, the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development explained many issues of public concern.
Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung said, “In general, social policies have been implemented correctly, sufficiently and promptly in Vietnam. The current poverty reduction rate is only 1.93%, which is a great effort in the face of continuous natural disasters, storms and floods. Vietnam, for the first time, achieved the labor productivity target of 5.56% compared to the set requirement."
"In late October, Vietnam, the only country in Asia, was invited by G7 to make a report on the implementation of social policies and promoting the role of people with disabilities and the disadvantaged in society.”

Concluding the discussion session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai emphasized, “Delegates agreed that the country's socio-economy will continue to recover and develop, expected to reach and exceed 14 out of 15 targets, of which GDP is estimated to grow 6.8-7%."
"People's lives and basic social security are guaranteed. Vietnam's global position continues to be raised. Deputies asked for continued macroeconomic stability, inflation control, and support for people affected by storms and floods. National target programs should be aggressively implemented and public investment capital be disbursed,” Hai said.
