Lawmakers prepare for next National Assembly session
(VOVworld)-The National Assembly Standing Committee convened its 9th session on Monday to prepare for the next National Assembly session scheduled for May 20. Lawmakers debated draft laws on the support for small and medium-sized enterpries, planning, and revisions to the law on the management and use of state property.

National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said that it’s necessary to ensure social insurance for employees in small and medium-sized enterprises.
“We respect domestic and foreign investors but we must protect the interests of employees. This is our commitment to the international community. Workers should benefit from social welfare,” Ms. Phong elaborated.
