In the previous session, NA deputies recommended adding to the revised Law on Human Trafficking Prevention and Control a regulation stipulating that trading in fetuses is a crime of human trafficking.

The deputies said that, according to the UN Convention on the rights of the child, a fetus may be considered a child before birth and a pre-natal child is entitled to legal protection. They agreed that it was essential to add such protection to the revised Law on Human Trafficking Prevention and Control.
