(VOVWORLD) - In recent days, leaders of various parties and countries have sent letters and telegrams congratulating President To Lam on his election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee.

In his congratulatory message, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong expressed his belief that the close relationship between Singapore and Vietnam will continue to strengthen under the leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam.
General Secretary of the Singapore People's Action Party, Lee Hsien Loong, affirmed that Singapore is always ready to collaborate with Vietnam in seizing economic and strategic opportunities in the region, expanding cooperation, and enhancing the relationship between the two parties, thereby upgrading bilateral relations between the two countries to a new level.
Thailand's Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin, expressed his firm belief that under the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam, Vietnam will continue to progress and prosper. He looks forward to working closely with General Secretary and President To Lam to further promote Thailand-Vietnam relations towards a comprehensive strategic partnership for the common benefit of the two peoples.
In her congratulatory letter, President of India Droupadi Murmu expressed her belief that the wise leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam will lead to the progress, prosperity, and continued success of Vietnam, deepening the Vietnam-India bilateral relationship. He affirmed that the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Vietnam has been built on a foundation of deep understanding, mutual trust, and strong multilateral cooperation.
Australian Prime Minister and leader of the ruling Labor Party, Anthony Albanese, congratulated General Secretary To Lam on his new position, affirming that Australia and Vietnam are steadfast friends, with a relationship founded on the strong bond between the two peoples and strategic political trust.
Leaders of the Communist Party of India, the American Communist Party, the Brazilian Communist Party, the Chilean Communist Party, and the Fatherland Party for All of the Dominican Republic also sent letters of congratulations to General Secretary To Lam, expressing their trust that under his leadership, Vietnam will continue to achieve new successes.
