The acting prime minister of the Tripoli government, Mohammed Khalifa al-Guwail, called on the international community to assist technically and logistically in the fight against IS, emphasizing that this Sunni extremist group is a great threat to security in Libya.
Libya’s internationally recognized government had earlier called for international arms supplies to combat IS.
