(VOVworld)- Heavy fighting disrupted activities at Libya's main international airport, Tripoli, on Sunday as the Revolution of Libya’s Islamist militia attacked rival Zintan group who controlled the airport, triggering fierce clashes. All international and domestic flights were cancelled due to rockets struck inside the airport perimeter and runways. No causalities have been reported so far. The fighting occurred several hours after Zintan group announced to handover two airports which were controlled by the forces since the Libya former leader Moamer Gaddafi was ousted in 2011.
