(VOVworld) - Intsights, an Israeli cyber-intelligence firm, said Wednesday that it hacked an Islamic State communication network through the Telegram app and uncovered IS plans to attack US air bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

A member of IS uploaded to Telegram a list of American air bases in the Persian Gulf and around the globe that could be potential targets. An uploaded map pinpointed air force bases in the United States, Canada, Israel, United Kingdom and other countries of Western Europe. Among the top targets were air bases in Bahrain and Kuwait which are being used by a US-led coalition to strike Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq.
