(VOVworld) – Localities across Vietnam have presented gifts to poor people and policy beneficiaries ahead of the Lunar new year festival.

Vinh Phuc province’s Labor Federation presented 210 gifts to disadvantaged workers. Phu Tho’s Red Cross gave gifts to poor people, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, and disadvantaged students in Tu My commune. 100 poor households in Son La province received gifts from the steering committee for the northwestern region. HCM city’s Farmers’ Association and HCM Television Station raised 13 billion VND to help poor people have a sufficient Tet.
