After a four-day national holiday, the People’s Committee of Vinh city in central Vietnam is requiring locals to complete health declarations, closely monitor suspected virus carriers, and punish rule violators.
The Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in the northern province of Son La on Monday discussed ways to deal with people returing from COVID-19 hotspots. Local authorities have banned large crowds, instructed locals to wear masks in public, and required that individuals entering from other localities complete health declarations.
