(VOVworld) – The Asian people enjoyed colorful fireworks and celebrative activities on Sunday night to welcome the Lunar New Year.

Chinese people celebrated the New Year’s Eve in crowded restaurants and with art performances on streets decorated with red lanterns. Hong Kong (China) was cheered by the New Year parade involving international artists. In Singapore, foreign tourists joined locals in the celebrations.

New Year celebrations involving lion dance, dragon boat race, and lantern parade were held in some areas of the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and France which are densely populated by the Asians.
