At early Spring get-together held in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, Ms. Ngoc Anh said she hopes the Vietnamese community will further grow, be more united, have a better life, and integrate well in the second homeland.
On behalf of the participants, the representative of the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, said that Vietnamese people, wherever they are, are looking forward to their homeland and will receive greater support from the Embassy in the upcoming programs when both countries are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
On the same day, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney (Australia) organized a Homeland Spring 2023 program. The highlight of the program were folk games such as tug of war, smashing earthen pots, dancing stalls, playing umbrellas, and making “to he” (figurines) toys.
The organization of folk games aims to help the young generation - the future people's ambassadors who will further develop the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Australia - better understand the traditional culture.
