(VOVWORLD) - The Luxembourg Government has pledged 2 million EUR in non-refundable aid to support Thua Thien-Hue’s climate change response project through the Global Climate Partnership Fund.

The project, which will be carried out in 30 months in 29 communes, aims to enhance local capacity to respond to climate change and focuses on raising public awareness about climate change response. The project, in line with the city's climate action plan until 2020, aims at mitigation in the regions’ most vulnerable to climate change.
