(VOVworld) – Luxembourg will provide an 8.1 million USD aid for Vietnam to implement projects of 3 key sectors under the One Plan for 2012-2016 which was signed by the Vietnamese government and the United Nations.

This assistance will be spent on improving the quality of educational and healthcare services. The fund will also be used for projects of enhancing women’s response to climate change, ensuring greater access to basic state services for children in the northern province of Dien Bien, and building electronic regulation system. UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam Pratibha Mehta said that UN organizations will work closely with Vietnam’s partners to effectively use the funding by Luxembourg in particular and other donors in general.
