(VOVWORLD) -A delegation of 200 cadres led by Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy, on Monday concluded a trip to the DK1 platform and islanders and soldiers in Truong Sa (Spratly) island district in the central province of Khanh Hoa.
The delegation visited Sinh Ton Dong and Da Dong B island and gave the soldiers and locals televisions, refrigerators, freezers, vegetable seeds, and medicines.
They also organized an art exchange program which Rear Admiral Xuan described as a great source of encouragement for local islanders and soldiers to fulfill their mission of defending the sovereignty of Vietnam’s sea and islands.
