Malaysia stresses ASEAN’s solidarity to resolve disputes in East Sea
(VOVWORLD) - Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hishammuddin Hussein said the solidarity between ASEAN members plays an important role in resolving disputes in the East Sea.

Answering questions from Members of Parliament on Wednesday regarding China’s illegal claims in the East Sea and their impacts on Malaysia’s security and sovereignty, Mr. Hishammuddin said that his ministry is keen on resolving the disputes constructively through appropriate diplomatic negotiations. He urged ASEAN member countries to stay united.
