Malaysia's new Prime Minister pledges to work to balance national interests
(VOVWORLD) -Malaysia's newly appointed Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Thursday he would make every effort to balance all interests and pledged not to receive a salary and make all his assets public.

At his inaugural media conference after being sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Brahim said his government will focus on economic issues, not compromising with corruption and abuse of power.
He told journalists he is committed to upholding the spirit of the Federal Constitution and the position of Bahasa Melayu as the national language.
