(VOVworld) - The 14^th children’s summer camp opened on Sunday night in Ba Ria Vung Tau province under the theme “Maritime homeland”. The trade unions of the Vietnamese Rubber Group and Ba Ria- Vung Tau province co-organized the annual camp for children of the group’s employees to inspire and nurture the love of country, archipelagos, and the determination to defend national sovereignty. Campers burned incense at the memorial temple of heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau, visited local tourist spots, and participated in games. The same day, an art program in Ho Chi Minh city called “Four seasons of love songs” raised scholarship funds for children of soldiers in Truong Sa archipelago. 10 scholarships worth 5 million VND each were sent to young islanders.
