(VOVworld) – Imbalance still exists in the supply and demand and the quality of the workforce in Vietnam’s labor market.

That was concluded at a workshop on Ho Chi Minh’s employment situation by the Ho Chi Minh city on Wednesday. Participants agreed that the city needs to create a system to forecast human resource demand, and distribute information about labor markets to all cities and provinces.
Vietnam needs to encourage cooperation between training units, vocational training schools, and enterprises, clearly identify the functions of tertiary education and vocational training, and boost the effectiveness of employment service centers.
