Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam speaks at the event

Dam spoke at a meeting to review media performance in 2020 and its tasks in 2021. Presentations included the trend of digital transformation in media, audience information access, challenges posed by technology and AI and changes of media outlets.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong urged media houses to promptly strengthen technology, and improve professionalism and ethics of journalists.

"We need to strengthen disciplines and press management in 2021. It’s crucial to improve professionalism of journalists who should be aware of their role, responsibility, and mission and improve their adaptability to new trends while maintaining traits of revolutionary journalists under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam."
