The meeting was jointly organized by the Ministry of Public Security and five Central Highlands provinces, including Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum, to evaluate the leadership, management and implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on the Central Highlands.
At the meeting, Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, requested that special attention should be paid to the most fundamental solution, which is economic development.
She also emphasized implementing religion and ethnicity policies, building the political system at the grassroots level with a contingent of ethnic minority cadres, ensuring national defense and security, and maintaining political stability in the Central Highlands.
"We must wholeheartedly do our best to help ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands escape poverty sustainably," Mai said.
