(VOVworld) – A meeting to mark 85^th anniversary of the Soviet-Nghe Tinh movement (1930- 2015)was held on Friday in the central city of Vinh. Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of Nghe An’s provincial Party Committee, said the great lesson from this movement is to assure the Party’s leadership, reinforce national unity centered on the alliance of workers and farmers and create great power from the people. The meeting was an opportunity to review the heroic tradition of the Soviet-Nghe Tinh movement, which has been a great encouragement for Nghe An’s party committee and people to gain more achievements in socio-economic development.

Speaking at the event, Politburo member and standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, Le Hong Anh stressed the contribution of Nghe An’s people to the whole country’s efforts to successfully implement renewal process and international integration. He remarked on future tasks: “It is essential to creatively apply the Party’s resolutions and guidelines as well as policies and laws especially those related to orientation and tasks to develop Nghe An province until 2020. The province needs to exploit and effectively use its potentials and advantages for economic development and focus on fulfilling tasks on culture, society and poverty reduction”.
