“Mekong Delta business forum” facilitates cooperation with the Netherlands
(VOVWORLD) - Dutch diplomatic representative agency and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Can Tho province have updated businesses bilateral cooperation initiatives in agriculture, water resources and logistics in the Mekong Delta.

Netherlands has invested some 50 million dollars to an increasing number of initiatives and projects in the region.
Dutch Ambassador Elsbeth Akkerman hailed common goals of economic and ecosystem recovery and sustainability of the Mekong Delta in the future.
She expected the Netherlands to be a partner with Vietnam and the Mekong Delta in water resources and climate change for sustainable agriculture and food security thanks to opportunities created by the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
