Bicycles and scholarships, each worth 85 USD were presented to the disadvantaged children with outstanding academic achievements, along with 1,000 gifts to other participating kids. Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai, said: “We highly appreciate the efforts of departments, agencies, and localities who have organised full-moon activities for children, particularly those in difficult circumstances. The programme is an encouragement to local kids on the occasion of the new school year”.

A Mid-Autum Festival was organized on Thursday in Nghe An province, for 700 poor ethnic children. 1,500 gifts were distributed to the children on this occasion.
