(VOVWORLD) - Various activities celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival are taking place nationwide.

On Monday, disadvantaged children in Ninh Binh and Vinh Long province participated in dragon dances, folk games, and street parades carrying lanterns of various forms and colors. Sponsors presented gifts to more than 100 local disadvantaged children.
In Binh Thuan province, 3,000 students joined a procession of 30 big lanterns. The procession was recognized as Vietnam’s biggest Mid Autumn lantern procession by Vietbooks magazine. The most outstanding lanterns will be on display at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Phan Thiet city later this month.
