(VOVworld) – Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang received US ambassador to Vietnam Theodore Osius in Hanoi on Friday. He wished the US ambassador a successful working term in Vietnam, contributing to deepening relations between the two countries and cooperation between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and US law enforcement agencies.

The same day, minister Quang received Michael Center, Security Advisor at the United Nations Department of Safety and Security in Vietnam. He praised the close coordination between the department and Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security to ensure the safety of UN personnel and agencies in Vietnam. He said he hoped that both sides will continue to share information and establish bilateral and multilateral cooperative mechanisms to ensure safety for all programs and activities of the UN, of which Vietnam is a member.
