(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi will build a national dossier for Mo Muong to be included in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.

Mo Muong is a job and also a performance practiced by the Muong ethnic group at funerals, religious festivals, and life cycle rituals. Mo Muong is a great epic that reflects the cosmology, viewpoint, outlook, and social life of the ancient Muong.
Mo Muong heritage exists in six provinces and cities, including Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Hanoi.
In Hanoi, the Muong can be found in 30 districts and towns, mostly in Thach That and Ba Vi district.
