(VOVworld) – Moody’s report on growth outlook of Southeast Asian economies said Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines will be development momentum for ASEAN in the next two years.
Senior Research Analyst Rahul Ghosh said Vietnam will likely continue to outperform all ASEAN peers this year and in 2017.
The country is benefitting from strong manufacturing activity and rising foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows. Meanwhile, Indonesia and the Philippines will post growth on par with, or exceeding, long-term averages by 2017.
