(VOVWORLD) - Moon Jae-in of the Democratic Party delivered a victory speech on Wednesday following a decisive victory in South Korea’s presidential election,winning 41% of the votes. He will be sworn in later today.
Moon Jae-in crushed his opponents Hoong Joon-pyo of the Liberty Korea Party, who won 24% of the votes, and AhnCheon-soo of the People’s Party, who won 21% of the votes.

Tuesday’s early election was called after former President Park Geun-hye was removed from office as a result of a political scandal.
