South Korea warns of strong response to any North Korean provocation
(VOVworld) – South Korea’s Acting President and Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn warned that North Korea will face a “corresponding consequence” for any provocative act, the Yonhap news agency reported on Tuesday.

At a cabinet meeting, Hwang said the South Korean government and the international community will not accept North Korea’s provocations. He said Seoul has decided to strengthen the combined defensive posture of South Korean and US forces here, and seek closer cooperation with China in carrying out strong punitive measures in case of further North Korean provocations.
