Most COVID-19 clusters in Hanoi basically under control
(VOVWORLD) - 6 out of 8 clusters of COVID-19 cases in Hanoi have basically been brought under control, according to a meeting of the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Thursday.
Hanoi has detected 67 community cases since April 29.
The city’s Vice Chairman Chu Xuan Dung warned of high risks of community infections in the capital as many of the confirmed cases came from other localities, the new coronavirus variants spread faster, and more people in close contact with a confirmed case have tested positive for coronavirus.
He urged local authorities and people to stay on guard and strictly adhere to prevention measures or COVID-19 will cause unpredictable consequences.
