He chaired a working session on Wednesday with the Assembly’s Standing Committee on the report monitoring five-year implementation of the National Assembly's Resolution on cancelling the investment policy for Ninh Thuan nuclear power project.

According to the report of the Economic Committee, ministries and branches, Ninh Thuan’s socio-economy has developed rapidly with its economic size, income per capita and total investment increasing sharply. People's living standards continue to be improved, the political situation is stable, security and defense are maintained. Ninh Thuan has achieved important results in developing new energy sources and environmental protection.

The National Assembly Chairman asked the National Assembly’s Economic Committee to coordinate with ministries and Ninh Thuan province to evaluate the achieved results and shortcomings and make proposals to the National Assembly and the Government to continue creating conditions for Ninh Thuan’s fast and sustainable development.
