Mr. Hue praised the Initiative by the Australian Government to implement the Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy [EEES], which he said is one of the methods to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The Strategy was jointly developed and publicly released in 2021 by the Government of Vietnam and Australia to support both countries’ sustainable, inclusive economic growth. The Strategy aims for Australia and Vietnam to become top ten trading partners, double two-way investment, and will help leverage the enormous potential that exists between the two countries.
Welcoming the three pioneering Australian entrepreneurs that have had many practical activities, specifically in connecting business people of the two countries in the past nearly one year, the National Assembly Chairman said he believes that there will be more and more Australian investors in Vietnam.
CEO of Asia Society Australia, Philipp Ivanov, said his organization is honored to be one of three pioneering enterprises participating in the Initiative to promote cooperation with Vietnam, thereby understand more about the relationship between the two countries over the past 50 years.
