(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese National Assembly will do all it can and closely work with Japan to promote exchanges between the two parliaments and peoples. At Wednesday's reception for Japanese Ambassador Tanizaki Yasuaki, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his hope that the two countries will be well prepared for the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties to foster friendship and mutual understanding among the young generations. He proposed that parliamentary friendship groups and two parliamentary committees promote dialogues and share experiences in law making. Ambassador Tanizaki promised more Japanese ODA to help Vietnam upgrade its infrastructure for socio-economic development. Tanizaki expressed his hope that Vietnam will further improve the investment environment for Japanese businesses operating in the country.
