Addressing a conference to set out tasks of the People's Procuracy in 2024 in Hanoi, Chairman Hue said, “Measures must be taken to prevent cases of injustice or wrongdoing from occurring in criminal proceedings. Do not criminalize civil, economic and administrative relations, create stable conditions and environment for the country's socio-economic development."

"It's necessary to focus on solving economic and corruption cases well, especially cases under the monitoring and direction of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption and Negativity,” he said.

The National Assembly Chairman urged the Supreme People's Procuracy to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's resolutions and State laws on justice, especially in preventing corruption crimes.

He said he believes that the People's Procuracy sector will continue to promote its wisdom and willpower and successfully fulfill its assigned tasks, ensuring the rule of law and building a professional, modern, fair, strict, and honest Vietnamese judiciary that serves the Fatherland and the people.
