The National Assembly Chairman urged the firm to closely combine business operations with economic and defense diplomacy, and perform its responsibility as a bridge connecting the cooperation between the National Assemblies, Governments, and defense ministries of the two countries.
He called on the firm to continuously explore and invest in new technologies to maintain its number one position in market share, as well as develop into a leading telecommunications and digital service enterprise in Laos.

He hoped the firm to pioneer in engaging in the digital transformation in Laos, establish connections with other sectors such as agriculture, energy, transportation, and tourism, and continue social welfare programs in the Southeast Asian nation.
The Star Telecom visit was the last activity in Chairman Hue’s trip to Laos for the first Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Parliamentary Summit and the Laos visit, before leaving for an official visit to Thailand.
