NA debates revised laws on housing and construction
(VOVworld)- National Assembly deputies on Saturday discussed the report on revisions to the laws on construction and housing. The deputies agreed on the need to comprehensively revise the Law on Housing to address its shortcomings. They said it was necessary to institutionalize Party’s viewpoints and constitution’s stipulations on people’s housing ownership to facilitate people and enterprises to develop housing sustainably. In regard to the revised Law on Construction, the deputies agreed on the need to strengthen State agencies’ inspection of designs, estimates and appraisals of construction projects. Do Manh Hung is a deputy from Thai Nguyen province: “It is necessary to strengthen inspection of construction projects to prevent wastes and ensure the quality and prices of construction sites. I think it is necessary to stipulate the responsibility of agencies and individuals in the inspection work”.
In the afternoon, the deputies discussed the revised law on real estate and the draft law on public investment.
