The meeting chaired by National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai gave opinions on major issues that need to be consulted on the revised draft Land Law.
Analyzing people's rights after land acquisition, the deputies said the State should consider supporting people whose land is acquired and owners of properties attached to land by creating jobs and stable production for them.
The revised draft Land Law needs to clearly stipulate that the construction of technical and social infrastructure in resettlement areas must be consistent with the cultural traditions, customs and practices of the residential community, where the land is acquired, deputies said.
