The revised draft Law on Organization of the People's Courts is related to the organization and operations of a number of agencies and related to many other laws. The draft Law aims to overcome problems and inadequacies in practice, improve the quality of trials and operational efficiency of the Court system, meet the requirements of judicial reform in the new period, and ensure uniformity in the legal system.
The Law on Capital City was passed by the National Assembly on November 21, 2012 and began to take effect on July 1, 2013. This important legal document regulates the positions, roles, responsibilities and policies for building, developing and protecting the capital city. However, after more than 10 years of law enforcement, it needs to be revised to increase initiative and autonomy and build Hanoi's political system to be truly streamlined and effective.
