NA leader: Q&A session improved
(VOVWORLD) - The NA’s Q&A session completed after 2-days of questioning of the Ministers of Public Security, Construction, Transport, Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Deputy Prime Ministers.

The issues debated reflected the public concern. The timespan for the question-and-answer session of the National Assembly this time was shorter than before, but the quantity of the deputies who raised questions as well as the number of questions was higher, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan noted. Ms Ngan said the discussions were held in a democratic, frank, responsible, and constructive atmosphere. Ngan said: “The 230 questions raised by NA deputies touched on the role, responsibility and right to supervision of the legislature, and the delegation of difficulties in management by the Government. They contributed to the compilation of the government’s plan of actions.”
The Q&A session was held within the framework of the ongoing 7th plenary session of the 14th NA. The top legislator commended the seriousness and the high responsibility of the Government and ministers in answering questions, adding that on the basis of the outcome, the NA Standing Committee will prepare a resolution for the legislature to consider and pass at the end of the session.
