NA Standing Committee approves transfer of 640 million USD to pandemic reponse
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee on Wednesday allowed the transfer of more than 14 trillion VND (640 million USD) to the central budget reserve for pandemic prevention and control.

The Committee authorised the Government to decide on the use this resource and report it to the National Assembly at the nearest meeting.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue requested clarification of a number of issues related to the expected allocation of resources such as: response level; impact, efficiency; the ability of budget recipients to prevent and overcome the consequences of pandemic.
Also at the meeting, all members of the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the establishment of Tu Son city in the northern province of Bac Ninh.
