They praised the government’s determination to collect more than 860 billion dong from ministries and agencies to transfer towards the mid-term plan and urgent national defense and security projects. National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan called for specific criteria in the recollection and adjustment of budgeting: “The budgeting adjustment for this year must be carried out correctly to cover projects in the mid-term public investment plans, especially in projects requiring urgent necessity."

Deputies also commented on revisions to the Public Debt Bill to promote centralized management of public debt in line with administrative reform and efficiency.
