NA Standing Committee debates revised Law on Election of NA and People's Council deputies
(VOVworld) – A majority of the National Assembly Standing Committee appreciated adjustments to the revised Law of Election of National Assembly and People’s Council deputies.
During a meeting on Thursday, the deputies agreed with a regulation that the National Assembly will elect members of the National Electoral Council. In preparation for the election of the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all level for the 2016-2021 tenure, the drafting board agreed that when the law on Election of NA and People’s Council deputies is approved at the 9th session, the National Assembly will elect the Head of the National Electoral Council and adopt the list of members at the 10th session.
Also on Thursday, the NA Standing Committee discussed differences regarding the revised Law on Military Service.
