(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee will begin a 6-day session in Hanoi on Wednesday to discuss revisions to a number of laws, according to the NA Office.

The draft revisions cover areas such as bidding, public security, water resources, and housing.
Lawmakers will comment on the proposal to include the draft revised Law on Citizenship Identity and the draft revised Law on Credit Institutions in the law and ordinance building program for this year.
They will also consider the legislature's report on ombudsman work in February and the Prime Minister’s proposal on the appointment and dismissal of Vietnamese ambassadors.
A question and answer session will be held next Monday and broadcast live on TV and radio.
